Once a year, for many years the photographers would come from all around for the lighting of this First-Order Antique Fresnel Lens in the Pigeon Point Lighthouse. I heard about it and went myself, only to find out how amazing it was to experience for the first time, Long-Exposure Photography. Im so glad I did; since then they haven’t lit this lighthouse and later took the lens out, adding it to the museum nearby.

I heard about it and went to try it myself, finding out how amazing it was to experience for the First Time: Long-Exposure Photography. Im so glad I did; that was 2010 and they haven’t lit the lighthouse since! Years later they took out that First-Order Antique Fresnel lens, adding it to the museum nearby. This photo is the Last Lighting of that Fresnel lens.
