We hiked almost an hour and arrived after midnight, got all set up and it started to rain. We knew it was a passing storm so we covered up and waited. When we uncovered, we found THIS!
The lights in the background are from Moab, reflected in the clouds from that passing storm.
Pismo Stairway
If the tide is low you can walk around the rocks down that side of Pismo Beach and find this old Stairway that leads up to the hotels above. This one’s a little rickety though…

Once a year, for many years the photographers would come from all around for the lighting of this First-Order Antique Fresnel Lens in the Pigeon Point Lighthouse. I heard about it and went myself, only to find out how amazing it was to experience for the first time, Long-Exposure Photography. Im so glad I did; since then they haven’t lit this lighthouse and later took the lens out, adding it to the museum nearby.

This photo is the Last Lighting of that Fresnel lens.
